In India, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) offers bachelors and masters courses in space science and related fields. Apart from IIST few other institutes including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) also offer specialization programs (M.Tech) in Astrophysics, Space Technology, Aerospace engineering etc.

Eligibility
The basic eligibility criteria is 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths). There are many BE/BTech program in Space science of four years duration. The selection is generally made on the basis of entrance tests (e.g. IITJEE, AIEEE, etc.) conducted at both national and state level.
