Careers in English


English is one of the world’s most used language and essentially a communication language of international communication. It is an unofficial Indian national language. In India for most of the jobs, knowledge of English is a must. In several Indian states, English has been accepted as the second major medium of instruction in colleges and schools after regional languages. 
Knowledge of English language is a must for any educated person to get a good employment opportunity.

Basic Eligibility

UG:
For admission in a bachelor’s degree course in English, the candidate should have cleared his 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

PG:
The eligibility criteria for joining a postgraduate program in English is holding a bachelor's degree in any stream.


Job Prospects
An English graduate as a beginner can get employment in communication firms, government agencies, research institutes, entertainment and in public relation. They can work as a English language trainer in BPO and many other MNC’s. English graduates can also work as a teacher in colleges, schools and in universities.

Remuneration
An English graduate can earn good income based on his knowledge and expertise in English language. Starting salaries can range between 10 to 15 thousand per month.
