Nano is a
term used for small things. TATA motors gave the name Nano to their car as it
is small. It is a special branch of science that combines physics, chemistry,
math, biology, engineering and technology. Nanotechnology
has great exciting applications in medical science, bioscience, environment,
cosmetics, electronics, security and many other fields. Nanotechnology has two major areas i.e. nanoscale technology and
molecular manufacturing. The nanoscale technology teaches small structures and
can be used for manufacturing better medicines, stronger materials, and
speedier computers. Molecular manufacturing is an effort to build chemical and mechanical
manufacturing systems that join molecules together.
Nanotechnology
is the technology of future and it will bring the unseen products in future.
Nanotechnology has applications in the field of textile, education, medicine, electronic
devices, gadgets, bio-technological applications, auto-mobile, genetic
engineering, , ophthalmology related instruments, quality control, forensics, sports
and fitness equipments, defense, space and robotics, medical apparatus, polymer,
chemistry, aeronautics, agriculture, environmental domains and business
applications.
