Career in Fashion Design

Fashion Designing involves designing apparels and accessories for men, women and children. The task of a fashion designer involves making a sketch of the cloth or accessory on paper and then convert it into the final product. For a designer it is very necessary to gain knowledge about the various aspect of fashion designing such as types of fabrics, materials, weaving, texture, colour, various design and trends that are going in market. While designing the clothes a designer has to keep in mind the culture and religion of the population.
Other then clothes, fashion designing also includes designing of footwear, jewellery, bags  and fashion accessories. A designer has to take care of fitting, size, style, colour, texture and material. A designer needs to be very creative to get success in this field.

Eligibility: -
For admission in undergraduate fashion designing programs 10+2 in any discipline with a minimum of 50% from any recognized board of education is required. For entering in a good institute candidates have to perform well in entrance exam.
For postgraduate program a bachelor's degree in fashion designing is must. A candidate with a portfolio of sketches, drawings and other artistic creations have an add advantage.

IAPT National Standard Examinations NSEP NSEC NSEB NSEA NSEJA 2012-13


Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) is conducting National Standard Examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Junior Science (NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, NSEA, NSEJS) for International Olympics  for the year 2012-2013. These examinations will held through out the country.

International Olympiads are held every year in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Junior Science for 10th and 10+2 students.

National Standard Examinations (NSEP in Physics, NSEC in Chemistry, NSEB in Biology, NSEA in Astronomy and NSEJS in Junior Science) are nationwide examinations organized by IAPT

NSEP, NSEC, NSEB and NSEA are conducted for CBSE class XII level while NSEJS is at CBSE class X level.

These National Standard Examinations are the first and the only screening tests leading towards International Olympiads in the respective subjects.
