Statistics involves putting mathematics to scientific use in the
form of data collection, analysis, comparison, interpretation and presentation.
The knowledge of statistics is used to design, collect, and interpret data
experiments surrounding many different fields of industry. This includes fields
of economics, psychology, medicine, marketing, public health, biology, sports,
social media and others. Military considerations also use statistical
procedures for approval of certain strategies and sanctions.
Statisticians use
sampling tools and techniques to determine sizes of relative populations and demographics.
This process is achieved by surveying sample population. They determine the
size of group and sampling methods for carrying these samples out. After this
they design various tools to collect the data such as questionnaire and
interview methods to carry on the survey further. Finally, statisticians
summarize, analyze, and interpret the resultant data.

Eligibility
For admission in to
bachelor’s degree program, you need to have a 10+2 examination certificate with
science subject such as (physics, math and chemistry). The duration of

Statistician working in universities and colleges get more income compared to other faculty members.
