Eligibility Criteria:-

For admission in BCA course one should pass 10+2 or equivalent of any recognized Board or Council with Physics, Chemistry and Math. The course duration is of three years which consists six semesters of five months. Their will be two months summer internship in this program.

For MCA you should have a graduate degree in computer science. It may be B.Sc. computer science or BCA.

Job prospects:-

A person with the BCA degree can make careers in project management, software testing, business development, customer relationship manager, software engineering and development, hardware and networking, quality maintenance and many more. A trained graduate can start his career as Test Engineer, Software Consultant, Network Engineer, Software Engineer and Programmer.

Remuneration:-

The salaries of BCA graduates depends on the college from which they pass out, the prevailing market conditions and economy and the personal skills of the students. As a fresher one can start his career with a salary of 12,000 to 20,000 per month. Salary increases with the experience and skill development.

For better opportunities in future you can pursue MCA or MBA after some work experience, this will fetch you senior positions in reputed organization.

Biotechnology is a fast growing and promising field. It is an interdisciplinary science, which includes the study of biology, physics, chemistry, maths and engineering.
